The aim of this consultation is to gather stakeholder feedback to consolidate our understanding of the role of electricity storage in Ireland, as well as the challenges it must overcome and the opportunities it presents.

Ireland''s national planning body An Bord Pleanàla has approved a €140 million (US$135.7 million) proposed battery storage facility set to be developed by Strategic Power Projects at Dunnstown, County Kildare.
