Originally, the Greater South East Net Zero Hub Board was comprised of representatives from the 11 Local Enterprise Partnerships within the region. On 1 April 2024 Local Enterprise Partnerships transferred their functions to local and combined authorities. A new governance structure for the Hub is currently being developed.

What we do

The Greater South East Net Zero Hub is currently supporting a project pipeline of c.100 projects. The independent evaluation of our work has estimated that if fully delivered, these projects will have combined value of c.£700 million and that a total of 2.3 million tons of carbon will be saved over the lifetime of these projects.

Community Energy Fund

The Community Energy Fund is a new £10 million programme that helps communities in England to develop clean energy projects to benefit their local areas.
